SUMMER STUDENTS
Bruce Power’s Summer Student program is offered to full-time college and university students. These temporary opportunities are designed to provide the students with experience of full-time work as well as an increased awareness of safety issues in the workplace. Students are assigned to entry-level positions in Business Services and Civil Maintenance to conduct work that is primarily seasonal or cyclical in nature. Consideration for these temporary positions are only given to students who are enrolled in full-time studies, have completed a minimum of one year post-secondary study and can demonstrate that they will return to their post secondary studies directly following their work term. In addition, students must provide Bruce Power with a current academic record/transcript to verify passing grades and they cannot work more than 2 4-month work terms. The website posting for the Summer Student work term is advertised on Bruce Power’s website from mid-January to mid-February and the duration of the work term is from May to August. Due to time constraints and anticipated volume of applications, Bruce Power will not respond to inquiries regarding the status of applications. |
